After the collaboration with Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, the famous music producer, has recently confirmed in a recent interview to British newspaper The Guardian to be dealing with “re-imagining” the atmosphere of Studio 54, working on a show to debut in Las Vegas but also in Macau and London in the next months.
He has already found a title for this brand new “stage experience” as he defines it: “A Night With Giorgio Moroder”. This would be a show that mixes dance and live music, with the producer dealing as a DJ with a few more famous colleague. He wants dancers suspended in the cages, just as they did at Studio 54 but the spotlight will be only on the celebration of disco music, that has a repertoire of fantastic songs.
